• I only have 5 pages and 4 posts on my website yet. Yesterday I wanted to add a page and I noticed that the page received a post ID of 1166. That’s a large ID number to enter in the ‘exclude this page from the navbar’ field. ??

I suppose (I have done some research) that this number is this large because in the past weeks I have made a lot of revisions? I have installed a plugin to prevent that from now on.

    Questions:

    1. is this large ID number the result of the many revisions?

    2. if so, can I get back to smaller ID numbers now I use a revision control plugin and if so, how can I set it back?

    3. if 2 = ‘NO’, will my ID numbers stay smaller when I do a fresh, new install and begin to use the revision control plugin immediately?

I hope to hear from you soon.
    Thanks and kind regards,
    Straccia

    Thanks.
Then I am going to build the site from scratch again. It is a higly customized theme so it will probably cost me two days to rebuild it but I find these large numbers annoying so I decided it will be worth the effort!
