large vs small sized plugins

  • Hi,
    I’m trying to setup my WP site and it seems low-sized plugin is good for server compared with large sized ones?
    At the moment i’m comparing two plugins: Adminize vs WP-Hide-Dashboard. The first one is about 200 KB while the second one is 5 KB. Both works good for me though the first one does more. But if small sized plugin is good for server, then should i choose the lighter one?

  • I select plugins for what they do, and I quickly get rid of ones that cause any problems. In this particular case, I use Admin Bar Minimiser and would likely go with the larger one as long as it worked properly and did not cause any trouble.
