last 10 that viewed profile? hide buttons from rcl menu bar

I have been testing out the plugin
and it works well but i have a few problems.

1. how can i hide the publications and post form in the (rcl menu bar)
i tried to delete the text in the admin area for wp-recall manager bars but it did not work. it still displays the button icons with no text and its still clickable.

2. how can i display last 10 users that viewed a user profile
and list in a section on personal office page.

what would be the best way to do this. would it be a query to the database for wp recall or can i use action hooks to pass view clicks from wp-recall to user meta and output data to personal office page.

i am hoping the structure of the plugin makes this possible for a learner like me to implement
