Based on the company’s responsiveness, I am editing my previous review. The company was able to fix the code and push out an update within a day of identifying the problem. This is a very handy tool that allows you to create your own post and page templates, with a dropdown menu to select which one you want to use upon creating a new page or post. I would like to see a way to not have the category default to “Uncategorized”.

    Previous Review
Previous update from a few weeks ago deleted my templates and took away some of the functionality. The most recent template from this weekend caused a fatal error and my site can no longer be accessed. This is pretty unacceptable. I’m going to follow a previous comment and see if I can restore my site. Unbelievable!

I sincerely apologize for the errors. We hope they are fixed in the latest update.

    1) Your old templates are still there. The conversion script was not running on plugin update (just on activate). This is fixed!
    2) The 500 error happened as a result of our first attempt to correct the issues with the update on activate code. We believe this is fixed too.

If you do receive another fatal error (God forbid!) please send us the error from your PHP error log.

Please consider trying 2.1.3 and then updating your review accordingly!

We hate making mistakes, and we hope we can regain your trust.

    Thanks,
    Clif

Version 2.1.4 has been released and is available for download. This fixes the fatal errors, as well as the vanishing templates issue completely.

We are very sorry for the problems our update caused and we hope that the new version regains the trust we’ve lost.

We hope you’ll consider revising your review now that the problem is fixed! A negative review can have a long lasting effect on a plugin’s credibility and we would hate for a single bad release to ruin our 7 year record.
