Last Tested Stable Nightly

  • I’m a sucker for updates but lately updating with the nightlies have messed up the local copy of my blog. So I’m asking if any of you have played around as well and if you know which latest nightly has been tested to be pretty stable?

  • I’m using 2005-02-04 with no problems, but I must say I don’t use a lot of stuff. No comments for instance.

    I downloaded the 2005-02-06 1.5 gamma and have it installed in my test blog. It’s running fine, but

    bloginfo('version')

    still reports 1.5-alpha-6 so I’m thinking there must be something borked in my set up again.

    The wp-includes/version.php file shows:

    1.5-gamma 2005-02-06

    Which to trust… ? ??

    Any speculation on whether we’ll see deltas? Or are you all close to “rho kappas”? It’s looking so rock solid and honestly has been since just before the switch from 1.3 to 1.5 versioning.
