Please make sure all your add-ons are up-to-date. Our code has been updated and you might be using an older version of one of our add-ons that is not compatible with Slimstat 4.8.6.

Just to say the same for me on 4 sites. Am not using any add-ons. Home Page remains visible but all other pages blank. Hope this helps identify what might be happening

Yes, there are broken and no broken pages. In my case home page is broken. I am not using addons.

I’m having a hard time trying to reproduce this issue on my end to understand what it’s causing it in your environment. While I figure this out, please downgrade to the previous version.

Download this file to your desktop:

    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-slimstat.4.8.5.1.zip

Unzip it and then upload its content to your server under

    /wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/

DO NOT UNINSTALL the plugin, or you will permanently lose all your data. Just overwrite the files.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Jason

    Many thanks Jason

I downloaded the plug-in @ https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-slimstat.4.8.5.1.zip and copied to /wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/. It is still broken!

My wp-admin folder goes blank. I had to deactivate this plugin to see admin page.

    Looking forward to the fix.

I went back to 4.8.6.1 since v4.8.5.1 did not work for me. Same issue, SlimStat is broken! My site is deployed in Azure App Service and here is the error message I see in the php error logs. I don’t have expertise in php but, hopefully, you will know what the error means!

[01-Sep-2019 05:15:00 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_enqueue_code_editor() in D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wp-slimstat\admin\index.php:537

@pksso what version of WordPress are you using?

@stokertje thank you for confirming this, other users have pointed out the same kind of issue. We suspect it’s related to a new feature we recently introduced to track redirects. Please roll back to 4.8.5.1 for the time being, until we figure this out.

    Thanks all,
    Jason

    Jason-
First, thanks for responding to my query. I am running WordPress version 4.8.9 at this time.

My attempt to use 4.8.5.1 did not go well. Same problem, my admin page goes blank once I activate the plugin. Behavior is same for latest version of the plugin.

Did the error message above make any sense?

    Plugin Author Jason Crouse

    (@coolmann)

@pksso yes, your error message was very helpful. We realized that a new function was recently introduced in Slimstat which is only available in WordPress 4.9+. We will either update the minimum requirements or find a way to replace this function with something else. One quick suggestion: next time please create your own thread, instead of adding your issue to an existing one. The mods around here don’t like that.

    Jason

Jason- Thank for the clarification. I upgraded my app to wordpress v5.2.2 (latest) and SlimStat v4.8.6.1 is working fine now. Sorry for mixing up the thread but your last statement could be much nicer.

Note for everyone- I did backup my site along with my sql db in Azure. Azure makes the backup so easy (if you are on standard plan) and restoring is just a click of a button! Upgrade went so smoothly and done in few minutes.

@pksso I’m glad your issue was fixed. As I said, we’ll update the minimum requirements soon, to avoid any further confusion. As for my last statement, I said “please” ??

@promostudio are you using Theme My Login?

    (@promostudio)

Hello Jason. No, I am using GeneratePress and don’t know that plugin.
