    Title says it all!

I’m sorry but I really don’t understand how you manage to not communicate/co-operate well enough under the same organization to not break something up so often.
It would be something (yet still unacceptable) if payments don’t work etc. after the update but making the whole website inaccessible is something else!

    Hi there @umutusu,

I’m not able to reproduce the problem using the latest versions of Stripe (4.5.5), WooCommerce (4.7.0), and WordPress (5.5.3).

Can you share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it by going to your admin Dashboard and select WooCommerce → Status. From there, select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.

Feel free to remove any personal information from the report such as site URL.

    Hi @umutusu,

We were unable to reproduce the issue on our end, but the latest release (4.5.5) features a change that has been confirmed to fix the error. Thank you for reporting, apologies for the trouble, and do let us know if you’re still seeing an issue.

    Regards,

    Paul

With the latest update, it doesn’t break the site anymore but now it’s impossible to use with another plugin for stripe gateway. We have to use other stripe gateway plugins too because yours doesn’t have everything we need.
I think it will be easier just not to use this one.
    Thanks

Thanks for bringing this to our attention @umutusu!
The developer for that plugin opened a thread as well: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/version-4-5-4-conflict/

You can see the relevant issue here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/1375

I’m going to close this now in favor of the other thread with a little more details.

    Thanks again @umutusu!

I agree and this is exactly what we have done.

For all that didn’t already see in the other issue I linked. This is from the developer of the ‘Stripe for WooCommerce’ plugin:

I just released version 3.2.8 of Stripe For WooCommerce where the function name was changed to stripe_wc. I didn’t get a response on the GitHub issue I created so I decided to take action on my end.

A check was added so that if a version of this plugin prior to 4.5.4 is active, my plugin’s wc_stripe function will load. That will ensure any custom code written that references wc_stripe will continue to work.
