    I hope you’re well today!

    I just tried to replicate the issue this way:

    – installed WP Hide & Security Enhancer plugin
    – changed login and admin URL using the plugin
    – logged out and logged-in back – so far so good
    – enabled Defender on site – no issues

    So I wasn’t able to replicate this yet but I suppose it’s a matter of specific settings.

    Do you remember if in Defender you had “Mask Login Area” option enabled?

    If yes, this would indeed conflict but should be possible to solve this way:

    – reset changed URL in WP Hide & Security Enhancer and disable the plugin
    – enable Defender back
    – go to “Defender -> Tools -> Mask Login” page and deactivate the feature
    – clear all cache and enable and configure WP Hide & Security Enhancer back.

    Also, when you cannot login – is it “just not working” or are you getting some additional error messages or warnings?

    No I don’t have Mask Login setup. If I have both plugins setup and change the login url and .php name I get taken to login again and the login page has no css styling and no matter how many times I try to click on the login button it goes around in circles.

    I will disable both and start again.

    When you got locked out, do you recall what exact message was displayed? Did you check the Defender logs under Defender > Firewall > Logs to see if there were any specific reasons listed for the lookout?

    It’s tough to say what exactly is causing this without replicating the issue on our side.

    If you think there are any steps that we should follow to replicate the issue, then please do let us know so that it helps us get a better idea of what might be causing it.
