With the last update all my columns are a mess. Rollback to a previous version everything is correct.

  • The latest update messed things up in Chrome, but it looks OK in Firefox

I’m only using the Breaking Bad function. Problem is only on Chrome in my case
Header is bigger then normal and some columns are not showing good.. got 2 column centered, but after the update the left column is top aligned instead of centered.

Here are my observations based on the issue.

This issue is happening only in Chrome and Brave Browser and not in firefox. I am using windows laptop.

The moment the plugin is activated the elements are moved out of the section.

I have not enabled breaking bad. Here is a short video to show the same: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cYirIHEFWN

I’ve pushed an update. Try to avoid using CSS calc() function with Teleporter because the Chrome browser miscalculates the position of the animated element that is inside the element with overflow:hidden property.
    Everything else should be OK.

The update does work for me now on Chrome. I’m at 1.4.3 and I use a lot of the “breaking-bad Custom Width” on column but all good now with version 1.4.3

On version 1.4.2, the breaking-bad feature was all over the place on Chrome.

    Thanks for the quick fix!

I can confirm the issue is fixed. Thank you for the quick fix.

Version 1.4.3 did fix the problem.
On a side note, the problem was affecting the display on Edge too.

    Resolved.

@ooohboi, with the last update you pushed to fix this issue (1.4.3), you warned against using calc(). So I was concerned that the beautiful effect you demonstrate in your Elementor Teleporter Hero video would have problems, since it uses calc to shift columns up and down. However, this seems to work just fine in Chrome with my latest tests with 1.4.3. Is calc() no longer a concern or is the miscalculation just a minor thing in this instance?

In any case, thank you very much for sharing this cool stuff and for the quick fix!

No quite easy to explain but there’s a little flaw with regards to the Teleporter column height in Chrome. Let’s say it’s noticeable in a particular edge case scenario. Chrome browser has an issue with figuring out the element height whose parent element is “overflow: hidden” which makes the Teleporter column height permanent. In other Browsers, the column height grows along with the content if the viewport is resized. I hope it makes sense.
