    Hi spookee,

I hope you’re doing well, and I understand your frustration.

When an update comes out, with linguistic improvements, old language files are automatically invalidated.

This happens to all plugins, themes, and even WordPress itself. It’s for the better, as we progress :).

I also explained very well in the patch notes that a lot of sentences have been updated. Over time, when people contribute their translations, this should be back to where it was – but better!

I hope this clears things up :)! Have a great day!

    Hi spookee,

Revising on what I posted earlier, I’ve read the context of your post wrong.

The SEO Framework never fully supported Polylang, so it didn’t get into my testing list for the 2.6.0 update.

If it did work before, it was a coincidence.
Nevertheless, I’ll add it to my list of plugins to test and I’ll release an update which will make everything work as intended again in the upcoming week :).

Thanks for the report and have a great day!

    Hi spookee,

I’ve just tested out Polylang and I couldn’t replicate the issues you’ve been facing.

I’m afraid you haven’t tested out The SEO Framework 2.6.1 as of yet.
The 2.6.1 update fixed a bug that caused “Untitled” to pop up on some specific pages (mainly the home page).

But if you have tested out 2.6.1, you might still have outdated object caching data — which should’ve been cleared after the update :).

I hope this helps! And I’d love to hear more from you.

    Have a great day!

Switching back and forth from 5 to 1 star is quite odd.

Nevertheless, if you require assistance, please open a support topic :). I’d be more than happy to help you out!
If an update isn’t working out for you, you can always switch back to a previous version until it’s resolved.

    Hi @spookee,

A lot has changed in the past year, and since the latest update, Polylang is officially supported too ??

I hope this reached you well, and that you might give TSF another try!

    Have a wonderful day!
