Hmm… having FTP access or similair is the only way to fix this I’m afraid.

Okay, then I have to wait until tomorrow I guess. And really hope that he have FTP access. Otherwise our whole site is gone and need to be build again??

I don’t know the answer to that. That depends on the guy who made it. It shouldn’t need to be the case when appropiate measures have been made in place like backups, etc.

I can only apologize for the bug that causes this issue when the host is not meeting the requirements (anymore).

Okay, since he is an ICT-man, I hope he did all the backup-stuff needed…
Well, thanx for the help so far. I hope I can post tomorrow that everything is fixed.

You could also fix the bug. That won’t help 2L1A, but it may help someone else.

I did actually. In dev version 1.5.6.1. See the issue tracker on my website.

Good news! The ICT-man did have acces to the FTP and he fixed the problem, so we’re back online.
So, your version 1.5.6.1 is save to install now? No bugs in it?

The bug is preventing an error screen that the requirements are not met to run the plugin. Of course you can install 1.5.6.1, but it doesn’t help you in meeting the requirements.

DW needs at least WordPress 3.0 and PHP 5.2.7

Ah okay, I see. My site runs on 3.5.1, so the PHP should be the problem then. (No idea where I can find that of course, haha)
Then it’s better to find another plugin I guess.

That’s for yourself to decide of course.

In my opinion the host should be upgraded to a higher version of PHP or find another host. As already said before in this topic PHP 5.2 has reached end of life in january 2011.
