    Hello!

Nothing needs fixing; this is intended behavior. Building a multilingual sitemap currently isn’t feasible in WordPress.

You may want to submit each sitemap to Google and Bing for their networks to find and support it. Still, sitemaps are redundant and do not improve ranking.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I’m aware that thanks. My only question is if it’s a bug that the last update only shows up for the secondary language but it doesn’t for the main language. That’s it ??

Well, it magically worked now. ??

If the secondary sitemap doesn’t update immediately after you make changes to your site, it will refresh every seven days, regardless.

You can disable this cache if you’d like at “SEO Settings > Sitemap Settings > General > Transient Cache Settings” (I moved it to this location in TSF 4.2.7). However, this may slow down your site when the sitemap is requested often.

Search engines will recrawl your pages at their own pace, even if the sitemap doesn’t provide changes. The sitemap does let search engines know which pages have been refreshed recently, which can influence their behavior.
