Last version is a disaster!

    Hi there,
    It is a pity such good plugin become such a mess in the last version.
    – The bulk editor does not recognize the SEO Titles and descriptions that are given directly by hand in the previous versions.
    – The “recalculation of SEO Scores” does not work for large amount of posts, it stop on about the 25% and get frozen as you could see in this image: https://cuba-portal.directory/images/yoast.jpg
    – The message at the top “We’ve updated our SEO score algorithm. Click here to recalculate the SEO scores for all posts and pages.” comes again and again. It does not matter if the user already has “recalculated” (in small sites with up to 40 posts the recalculation goes through until the end 100% or that you close it. The message comeback and stays forever at the top of the page

    I am considering to get rid of Yoast SEO plugin.

    rollback to 2.3.5 and wait 2-3 mounth’s for a good version. i fucked up my traffic because going on version 3. i rollback and traffic was there again.

    they make the same shit with another design. if you at least have some changes in seo witch helped you to get a better score i might understand the need to make a new version, but this is just plain stupid.

    making tests with on hundred of people buisness just to change something.
    use seo data tool to transfer seo data to another seo plugin and get rid of yoast.

    I have the premium version but can not rollback since it’s not the free one. So i’m with a screwed up blog till they update the plugin again. This is not fair but I hope an update comes out this week.

    @neosoft, use a plugin called WP Rollback, it worked like a charm for me, this is what everybody is doing.

    I rolled back to version 2.3.5 and everything is fine.

    I should repeat myself 100 times:

    DO NOT CHANGE A RUNNING SYSTEM!

    Unfortunately, my provider does not allow automatic updates and rollbacks, so the only possible way for me to getting my system to work is installing the 2.3.5 version manually. But where do can I download it????

    Just found the 2.3.4 version on my computer and installed it. Hopefully the email subscriptions will work again now!

    I agree, this new realease 3.x.x is catastrophic for free users !!!
