I’ve loved using the plugin on a number of sites. I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version on my sites, as well as the latest Elementor. It seems that certain features of the plugin are inaccessible, and Elementor often overrides the styles. Is there a set of steps that your team knows of to fix the issues? Thank you!

  • Just seeing something similar and wanted to add some specifics –

There is now an area to set the button color in general, but if a site had set small, large, XL etc… buttons (Button Sizes) to be a specific color or setting, these are no longer changeable in Style kit, it is locked to what was set before and the setting there is useless.

The accent color doesn’t seem to do what it did before for links.

Large/XL/XXL/ other sized headings don’t have a typography setting area. So H1/H2/H3/H4/H5 size does not do anything if those were set for specific sized px value before.

Outer Section Padding – Setting is not accessible anywhere anymore?

Column Gap paddings and space between widgets – not accessible anywhere anymore?

@jjcarlson If you see any others I didn’t mention can you also add and clarify if there are other parts that are missing, maybe give a url of one you are seeing?

I actually found some of the above missing ones in “Style Kits” – I’m not sure why most of those seemingly missing ones would go into the style kits area as I would think that would be configuring different style kits.

    Hello @jjcarlson,

We released a patch version style kit 1.7.1 which fixed the color related issues. Could you please update the Style Kits to the latest one and check once again.

    Thanks,

    Hi @programmin,
Could you please update the plugin to latest version 1.7.1

“There is now an area to set the button color in general, but if a site had set small, large, XL etc… buttons (Button Sizes) to be a specific color or setting, these are no longer changeable in Style kit, it is locked to what was set before and the setting there is useless.” — We changed button text and background color through the following steps and it works:

    1. Right click and click “style kits” in the context menu
    2. In the sidebar click the button “EDIT THEME STYLE KIT”
    3. Under the “Theme Style” group clicked the menu “Style Kits”
    4. Clicked the panel heading “Button Sizes” to access the button style settings
    5. Modified the text and background color and submitted the settings by clicking the “UPDATE” button
    6. Finally in Elementor editor mode or view page you will see the changes

“The accent color doesn’t seem to do what it did before for links.” — Please update to 1.7.1 the accent color will work.

“Large/XL/XXL/ other sized headings don’t have a typography setting area. So H1/H2/H3/H4/H5 size does not do anything if those were set for specific sized px value before.” — we noted this it’s a valid point we will analyze this with the team

“Outer Section Padding – Setting is not accessible anywhere anymore?” — We confirm that it’s working in case if you miss anything could you please follow this https://docs.analogwp.com/article/587-outer-section-padding

“Column Gap paddings and space between widgets – not accessible anywhere anymore?” — We confirm that it’s working in case if you miss anything could you please follow this https://docs.analogwp.com/article/588-working-with-column-gaps

    Hope this helped.
Any queries please feel free to add it here.

    Thanks,

    Hi @programmin,

“Large/XL/XXL/ other sized headings don’t have a typography setting area. So H1/H2/H3/H4/H5 size does not do anything if those were set for specific sized px value before.” — regarding this point had a discussion with team. The typography control for H1-H6 is only for “default” size. If the user selected another size for the heading, for example XL, then the new size will be applied.

    Thanks,
    Vijayan
