Latest Episode and list not updating

    Hi,

    Been using the plugin for over a year. The theme I use has been the same, and the other plugins have been on the site for a year as well.

    I think since the 4.8.2 WordPress update, the ‘Latest Episode’ isn’t coming up. It lists the second last episode, and is treating that as the latest.

    I’ve looked in the stats (I use SS Stats too) page and the latest episode isn’t appearing in the list there either. It is however listed on the website if you navigate to the page itself. I have auto-tweeting/FB as well and they’re working fine and linking to the podcast, it’s just the SSP Widget of “Latest Episode” and the blog list containing podcast episodes not working.

    Hi there. Can you send over the website this is happening on? As well as the feed URL you’re using? That will help us troubleshoot what could be going on with the latest episode behavior.

    I tried adding ‘September 28 2017’ a couple of times. Both times all other elements from other plugins worked (Tweet gets sent out, Facebook gets updated) but for SSP the podcast didn’t appear in either the latest episode list or the recent podcasts list. It appears in the ‘All Episodes’ section in the Dashboard, is directly available here (https://swiftimpulse.com.au/podcast/september-28-2017/) but doesn’t appear in the feed, the series list, recent episodes, latest episode or as an entry in the stats area of Seriously Simple Stats.

    I have since added ‘October 05 2017’ and this has gone on the website correctly and as expected, with all the usual areas being updated, so the behaviour seems to have subsided for now. I’ve just updated to the latest version of SSP too (today – October 10).

    Hi there

    So glad to hear it’s now working as expected. We’ll keep an eye on this and see if we can pick up any bugs along the way to try and consistently replicate and fix this.
