Latest pictures from specific Gallery

Hi,

Is it somehow possible to get the latest pictures that have been added to a FooGallery? I would need that to create a page to showcase recent activity and updates.

I have tried reading through https://docs.fooplugins.com/foogallery/developers-foogallery/ but I have a hard time understanding anything or finding what I am looking for. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
