• Resolved stormdart

Your latest plugin isn’t compatible with WooCommerce, you’ve crashed 2 of my websites and 4 of my colleague’s websites. We’ve had to delete this plugin from FTP. Shabby – not professional…

Giving fatal error and crashing whole website…

  • Same here, fatal error!

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘MailChimp_WooCommerce_Privacy’ not found
    mailchimp-for-woocommerce-2/includes/class-mailchimp-woocommerce.php:205

Same here, error 500 when visiting the site after updating. Had to move the plugin to a backup folder for now.

They’ve released it without doing basic tests. Been rushed obviously. Seconds thoughts whether to use this plugin ever again now.

luckily I was able to restore a backup of 2.1.7

But yeah, very bad. With so many people having the same issue, you would say that some basic testing would have prevented this

    Agreed.

Me too. Error 500 immediately after updating! I just escalated this to MailChimp support directly.

Just blew up my site as well. I use mailchimp all day; this is pretty frustrating.

Hey everyone, first off our sincere apologies for any issues the latest upgrade caused. Shortly after the release, we noticed that the SVN push did not include a file that caused the upgrade error (and indirectly you all did as well). We agree it’s not at all the behavior we want out of the plugin and definitely want to make every effort to make things right.

Within minutes of realizing what had happened a patch was issued and fixed the problem. Again, we’re very sorry for any hassle this has caused. If you’re still having issues, we recommend deleting the existing plugin from your FTP and performing a fresh install. If for any reason you continue to have problems please let us know and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot.
