    Hey graphichome –

I will check into this for you and follow up.

Since this issue presumably will exist in both the Free and Pro version of the plugin, I will update this thread with any result. Supporting Paid plugins is otherwise against the rules of this forum but can be handled by sending us an email at [email protected]

    All the best,
    Richard

    Hey graphichome –

    I have a few questions:

    – Can you confirm you’re on version 1.34?
    – Can you let me know what kind of page you are using the shortcode on?

I’m trying to reproduce your issue but have been unable to do so yet. Once a I can reproduce the issue a fix won’t be far off!

    All the best,
    Richard

    Hi Richard
    Confirmed v 1.34.
Using this on a regular/standard page. I also use your plugin as a widget but it works fine. Only when used on a page do I have this trouble.
    Thank you.

Sorry for all the follow ups —

If you have the Apply the Content Filter box checked, can you try un-checking it and let me know if that has any effect?

    Best,
    Richard

That fixed it. Thank you so much. Not sure how it got checked if it were unchecked prior to the update. Anyways…. a million thanks.

    Perfect!

I think there was an issue causing the content filter to be applied twice, in specific situations.

Disabling that option will prevent the filter from running at all, which prevents the issue. We’ve released a patch that addresses the edge cases we found, too.

Please let me know if you encounter anything else!

    Best,
    Richard

Richard, I just updated to the new plugin and have a new issue. See below for a widget testimonial as it now shows on my website. There is some code showing now that wasn’t there before. See the [ssba_hide] message. Shouldn’t be there.

    Helpful
It’s very helpful! Taking the A4 test.

I think this is from the Simple Share Buttons Adder plugin. I had to hide the sharing links for testimonials otherwise they showed in widget testimonials.

I have removed the Simple Share Buttons Adder plugin but still showing.

Problem solved. That code was hard coded into the html. Something I had to do years ago to stop the testimonials from showing share buttons. However, this was still shortcode and I would think that the the shortcode wouldn’t show up because it’s shortcode. This only showed up after the update to the Testimonials plugin.
