It didn’t take the site off line, but it took all of my ads away, which is just as bad. I had to revert back to a backup of my site to undo this. I’ve got a call in to my developer to find an alternative to this plugin. I did not realize how integrated it is into the entire site. (I’m not on the development end of this.) I cannot afford to deal with this kind of stuff, y’all. I’m running a business and I can’t afford to be off line or have my ads not show. I’m not sure what’s going on with this plugin but it’s a PITA.

I would suggest you contact your theme developer and have him make the determination Redux is the issue. Have him contact us directly.

It is a Redux issue. The plugin update breaks stuff. When I revert to the old version – the one y’all published after the last issue – it breaks everything again.

I don’t know why this says it was resolved. I have my devs looking at this. The old version seems to be hanging on, but I’ve had to block Redux updates to keep it from taking my site down. I’ll keep y’all posted on what the devs say.

    Same…breaks site for me too

It also broke my site. Unable to log into WordPress at all to even deactivate the plugin, and I can’t deactivate it externally. I’m rolling back to five days ago. Such a mess.

I feel your pain. As a stop gap measure I was able to retain an older version of the plugin – I used WP Engine to stop Redux from pushing its updates to my site even though I turned off the auto-update feature – and I’m currently talking to a developer to try and figure out my next move. Unfortunately, Redux is not something you can just pull out and replace. My developer who did my old redesign used it, not me. It’s a huge mess and it’s probably going to cost me several hundred dollars to fix.
