• Hi,
Previously, my blog posts have been pushed by AP to fedi fine. (Thanks! ?? )
My last one has not showed up on Mastodon though. My usual workflow is:
    i. uncheck “Enable authors” (because I want all the fedi posts to be under the main blog account) and Save.
ii. Publish blog post via wordpress, and wait for it to appear on fedi (Mastodon), then re-enable authors, and Save.
Occasionally, I would forget to do #i, but the post would still get pushed out, but under the author profile, not the blog profile (but would still be boosted by the blog profile). Fine.

The differences I can think of this time are:
    – The blog post was published under a scheduled date, not by clicking “Publish”(immediately).
    – I’d upgraded to 2.4 since my previous blog post.

I’d noted that with “enable authors” ticked, AP would re-push a blog post after an author made an edit to it. (Which I was fine with.) So after the latest post failed to get pushed out, I tried a couple of times to make a minor edit to it. This didn’t make the post appear on Masto, unfortunately.

Any ideas why this is happening?
I have just upgraded to 2.5, but haven’t tried making an edit to the offending post yet.

I can see your blog post on mastodon.social without problems. Maybe there was a delay because of the scheduling?

Oh! Well, this is odd. The blog post was made on Sunday, so that would be quite a delay. But yes, you’re right – if I visit mastodon.social, and search for @offgriddervoid, I can see that account’s post for episode 41, including the fact that it has been edited, and that it was boosted by @offgridpod – all as it should be. But it’s not showing up in either of those profiles’ list of posts when I look at them in moth.social . Hmm, I guess that means it’s a moth.social problem, not an AP one? I’ll try boosting that post from my (non-blog) profile in moth.social…

…Okay, after boosting from my personal account, the post shows up under @offgriddervoid’s posts , but not under @offgridpod’s (both when viewed in moth.social). I’ll wait a while to see if the latter shows up. Still a bit of a mystery to me, but at least I now know to search via a different instance before panicking. :-/

    Thanks…
