Latest Posts not showing on home page

  • suddenly i have a problem with my blog (greenassemblydotnet). i posted 8 new posts yesterday, but when i checked the site in the evening the home page didn’t show any of them.
    if i click on a previous date (eg 4, 0r 2 or 3 or any date other than today or yesterday) on the calendar, and subsequently click on today’s date, the latest posts show up! but my readers will not know to do this.
    if i log in, the latest posts show up on the home page. it’s weird.
    i don’t think it’s to do with the theme. i tested this by changing theme but the outcome was the same.
    i deactivated all plugins, same problem. i checked settings in admin, the “latest posts” button is checked.
    i am at my wits end!!!! can anyone help please?

  • I’m having the same problem with my site as well, it started happening after I upgraded.
    When a user goes directly to the site it shows ‘Not Found’ in the posts page but if they click on the any of the categories, or a link to: /page=1 it shows all the posts.
    Would really appreciate some help with this! Thanks!

    i noticed that you first posted your problem 5 months ago and never got a reply from anyone. looks like i may have to wait a while for help. glad the house isn’t on fire! by the way, you said your problem startede after upgrading. i’m wondering if my problem is anything to do with customising my permalink structure which i did 24 hours before my “posts not showing on home page” problem started. could just be coincidence, i don’t know.

    still unresolved. it seems to be going in phases / batches. stuff that i posted two days ago has now started appearing. stuff that i posted this afternonn is not. i wonder if anybody out there can make some helpful suggestions.
