    Since the latest update, as soon as the submission form page is loaded, there is already a red error at the top of the form saying to “Please complete the required fields.” even though the submit button was never pressed. (I’ve temporarily hidden this error with CSS until an update is released.)

    The second issue with this update is that the Google ReCapture verification has stopped working. This has caused a huge issue, because it prevented the form from being submitted at all!

    I have since got rid of ReCapture for the time being, but I figured I’d let you know of this issue in case you were unaware. I don’t know what else would be causing the issues; I’ve been using your free plugin for over 3 years without issue.

    Also, the “Add another image” text is showing up below the image upload section even though I have the settings set to minimum images 0, maximum images 1. I am also temporarily hiding this text with a CSS edit.

    If I can get a link to the previous version, I would love to revert back if possible! Thank you so much for this plugin, Jeff and anyone else involved!

    On the form page linked in your post, I see JavaScript errors:

    SyntaxError: Unexpected token }
     /submit/:14

    SyntaxError: Unexpected token }
     /submit/:23

    If you view the source code on those lines you will see the issue, invalid JavaScript. The code is not from USP, btw, but from context looks related to a plugin that outputs this:

    <link rel="preload" href="https://edmontonzone.b-cdn.net/wp-content/themes/hueman/assets/front/css/main.min.css?ver=3.4.24" as="style" onload="this.rel='stylesheet'">

    I think once the JS errors are under control try the form again should work normally. Let me know how it goes or if I can provide any further infos.

    Jeff, that was UNREAL response time, and the amount of help you provided was fantastic. Thank you so much for that.

    Okay, so I’ve gone ahead and removed all the CSS “display: none” that I added so you can see what I’m talking about. All the wrong things are still showing up after removing the JS errors you mentioned above.

    This is absolutely something that occurred after the latest update – so nothing on my end was changed. It may still be an issue on my part, but it’ll be good to figure this out so that it doesn’t effect anyone else in the same boat.

    Check the same URL above and you’ll see how it looks since the latest update.

    Thank you so much for your help Jeff. I really appreciate it!!

    Hi Jody,

    I am still seeing all sorts of JavaScript errors on the page, most likely that is what is causing problems. Here are some that I am seeing (via code inspector console):

    SuperPWA: Current request is excluded from cache.
    adsbygoogle.js:1 Uncaught O
    adsbygoogle.js:1 Uncaught O
    responsivevoice.js?source=wp-plugin&ver=5.2.2:9 ResponsiveVoice r1.5.16
    OneSignalSDKWorker.js.php:51 SuperPWA: Current request is excluded from cache.
    scripts.min.js?ver=3.4.24:23 NOK => browserDetect::addBrowserClassToBody => TypeError: Cannot read property 'chrome' of undefined
    responsivevoice.js?source=wp-plugin&ver=5.2.2:106 RV: Voice support ready
    about:blank:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
    about:blank:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
    register-sw.js:4 SuperPWA service worker ready

    Once those are cleaned up everything with USP should be working again. And remember if you don’t want to try testing/troubleshooting stuff on a live site, you can always set up a new WP install and leave everything at the defaults (plugins, theme, etc.). Then you can install USP to see that it works normally, and begin recreating your site one plugin at a time, retesting between each, until the culprit is found.

    Hey Jeff. I can’t figure out what the issue is, so we can mark this is solved if you want and I’ll just continue on my marry way. Thanks for your help.

    If you can lead me to the version prior to the last – I would really love to download that, as I seem to be the only one struggling with this new update. ??
