Latest Track Doesn’t work

Sometimes tracks don’t appear straight away, especially if you’ve just uploaded them to Soundcloud. You might also need to clear cache on your browser.

Unfortunately the problem still persists, The cache wasn’t the issue I’ve also tried to visit the site from a different device. And the latest track is one month old so that shouldn’t be the problem either. The strange thing is that when using the random method the latest track appears and it works fine.

I created a test page with the the shortcode as follows: [soundcloud user='username'] and this time the soundcloud player loaded but it said Oops, we couldn’t find that track. I also tried with a different username but the result was the same.

I hope this information was useful in order to identify the problem.

Hate to be stating the obvious but I’ve been caught out by simple stuff, have you checked that the username is correct and that the track isn’t accidentally set to private on Soundcloud.

Well, now seems το work fine, we uploaded a new track and now it shows up. It must have been something weird with the track it’s self (maybe because it was over a month old?). Just for reference it used to work on the plugin’s settings page but not on the front end.

This sound like a weird one but I will keep a note of it in case I think of a fix while working on the plugin.
