Latest UM update v.1.3.45 crashed my site

Latest update v.1.3.45 crashed my site. 3hrs earlier had downloaded previous version together with Woocommerce paid extn. working fine. then received update notification. Updated UM which then crashed my site. I went in to server and manually removed both plugins, cleared cache but UM hooks etc remained in some of my other files so site still crashing. Luckily had offsite backup and restored to earlier image.
Guys at UM this is shockingly bad particularly as I have a monetised site.
