• Hi,

    Great plug – thank you!
I use it on 9 sites, generally with mailpoet premium also installed (using mailpoet sending service MPSS) but two larger sites have mailpoet premium (with sendgrid)

Recently when updating all software on all sites and noticed your new version 1.3.14 is not working on any site.

On the MPSS sites, it appears to try to add the user to all existing lists regardless of the whether the tick box is enabled and sends them a confirmation email to all lists.
On the Sendgrid sites it does nothing, regardless of tick box (doesn’t add the user to any list or send any email other than the CF7 message)

    Hope you can advise!

    Many thanks
    T

  • Hello, @kitcummings
If you use “mailpoetsignup”, it will add the lists that are selected by you or the users. On othe other hand if you use “mpconsent” it will add all the existing lists.

Many thanks for your reply… I have removed mpconsent from each form.

This stopped the multi-list issue which is great, but unfortunately there is still a problem.

When the signup tick box is disabled, the cf7 message is sent and nothing else happens – as expected, great!

When the signup tick box is enabled, the message is sent but the user is not added to the mailpoet list and no verification link is sent to the user – although i do receive an email saying i have a new subscriber (but i dont)
I also noticed the CF7 Flamingo plug adds the user but doesn’t recognise that they came from the contact form, ie blank field.

Can you advise on what i am doing wrong?

    many thanks

I think I’ve worked out what is going wrong…

when testing i move my test mailpoet subscribers to the bin before re-testing with the same email addresses but the system appears to recognise the previous data in the bin and give unexpected results. (no subscription, wrong email, no email, multi list etc)

when i delete the test users completely the system appears to work as expected

    I’ll keep testing

    Hello, @kitcummings
When you delete an user, it move to trash. The user who is in trash can not be added to subscriber list. You have to restore the user from your admin pannel.
And if you permanantly delete the user then again it can be added to subscriber list when the user fill-up the form.
