Latest update breaks Elementor websites

  • Dear Author: My website, made with Elementor Pro, completely breaks when I update the plugin to the latest version. When I deactivate your plugin, the website works normally. Please release an update to fix this. Thanks.

    Hi,
    Sorry for the issue, do you use this free or pro plugin version?
    There is no change that would impact Elementor, so the issue might be related to a cache.

    I am using the free version. I cleared the cache too, but the new update breaks the website. The previous version works fine, but the latest update does not.

    Hi,
    Go to Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS and click the Regenerate Files button.
    Also, go to WP Hide > Rewrites and unblock the defaults for wp-content, wp-includes and plugins.

    Dear Maya, Thanks for getting back to me. The defaults for wp-content, wp-includes and plugins inside “Rewrites” tab were already “unblocked”. I also reset each page setting in “Rewrites” tab and regenerated Elementor CSS/files, but no luck. Hope you can help.
