Still going, how long should it take? I only have about 50 media items

It’s still going, this doesn’t seem right. I’ve discovered that if I put the library into list view I can see everything. The file URLs for anything I upload though now look something like this:

If the upgrade procedure hasn’t fixed the corrupted downloads, you may need to remove them yourself. If you take a look at your postmeta table, you should see several ‘_wp_attachment_metadata’ keys (one for each media item). Then filter those keys to show only entries that contain a meta_value of ‘WP_Error’. If you delete them it should resolve the issue, however, you will have to re-upload the effected media items as they are effectively corrupt.

Thanks I’ll give it a go, what about the really long urls it’s creating for new uploads though?

Ok, it seems to be working now ?? but it’s not compatible with the WP Offload S3 tweaks plugin which I am using to set the ACL of uploaded files to private – this is what is creating the long URLs I’m seeing. How can I set the ACL to private for all uploaded files by default?

Edit: I found a solution, I remove the tweaks plugin but take the ACL filter from it and add it straight into my theme’s functions.php
