Latest update breaks on PHP 7.0

    Howdy,

    We have two sites on PHP 7.0.11 on different servers that after being updated to 3.8, white screened without any errors being written to the log. Putting them back to PHP 5.6 brought them back up.

    This error is easily reproducible.
