The latest update for some reason overrides the wp_mail function and breaks the Post SMTP plugin. I assume it would also break any other mailer plugins that overrides the WordPress mail function. I rolled back to the previous version and it’s OK. I tried this on two different sites with the same result.

I can’t use this plugin as it now stands since Post SMTP is more important.

  • Same problem for me, the latest update creates a conflict with the plugin Sendinblue (because of the wp_mail function).
I also came back to the latest version while waiting for a fix.

I just tested with default wp_mail function without any SMTP setting, working fine as default.

So, to reproduce, could you please what kind of SMTP settings you are using? And feel free to send us more info in our site support form.

For my part, I use the “SendinBlue Subscribe Form And WP SMTP” plugin, with “yes” checked in the “Transactional Emails” section.

    Hey @godvsgodvs @gwenn22

I have fixed and updated the plugin. Please update to v2.9.1. There was a function with pluggable.php file dependency and that was causing the issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks again for reporting the issue quickly. We appreciate your support and co-operation very much. ??

    Have a nice day!

I tested the update and it’s good for me, thank you for your responsiveness! ??
