    Hi,

When updating to the latest version of the plugin, the Taxonomy Options break.

Basically when selecting custom post types by ID, it returns no results in the ID field, even though posts do exist for the particular post type.

Hi, can you give me very specific details for for the settings for this carousel? If you could screenshot the settings page so that I may try to recreate this myself.

If you use the wp rollback plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/ you can revert to the previous version until I resolve this issue.

Hi, same here. Carousels with custom post types stopped seeing posts list to select. I downgraded to 1.4.1 and it is OK again.

Can one of you post a screenshot of the settings for the carousel please?

See screenshot of settings on 1.4.1

As soon as I run the update, the post ID field (referenced in screenshot), no longer shows any available posts to choose as part of the carousel.

I trust the above is making sense,

This update shows the Taxonomy fields as options under “Display Taxonomy Options” now but appears not to save them after one is selected. I tested this:
    Taxonomy type: Category
    Taxonomy Term: MycategoryName

Yes! This fixes the taxonomy problem. Thank you.
I think I spotted another issue, however. When I select “Custom” in the “Image Size Options” dropdown and fill out my custom sizes it does not appear to save them. Or rather, it does this:
    1. I select “Custom” in Image Size Options dropdown. I fill out custom dimensions and check “Hard Crop” and “Upscale Image” option and Update settings.
2.In checking front end display the Carousel does not appear to be hard cropping and upscaling images (the images in carousel are of variable heights.)
    3. Going back into Carousel settings I see the Image Size Options dropdown is showing “–Please Choose”.
    4. Reselecting “Custom” displays the saved options that I wanted to have.
    5. Resaving options gets me back to #2.

I can break this out into a separate issue if it’s unrelated to the update.

It’s all related to the update. I had some WP Security issues that needed to be worked out quickly. I missed a few things. I think this fix nails it. I got the changes noted by @wplove3268 as well… It seems all good in my tests.

I’m going to push to WP.Org if there’s any more issues, with anything other than the Taxonomy… let’s make a new thread.

To re-iterate I’ve released version 1.4.3 which should have addressed everything mentioned in this thread.

I’m going to mark this as resolved.
