Latest update changing format of pages

    Hello,

    The latest Astra theme update (3.8.3) has caused an issue on one of my staging sites. Elements that did cross the entire page are now formatting differently, like they’re in narrower contained boxes.

    You can see the difference on my staging site: https://m7q.ba0.myftpupload.com/ which is running the new update…
    compared to the live site, which I haven’t updated: https://pathogenfocus.com/

    I didn’t experience this on the other site I updated today.

    I figured it out. Somehow after the update the Content Layout setting of each page appeared to have changed. To fix, I clicked “Edit Page,” went into “Astra Settings,” and changed the Content Layout from “Customizer Setting” to “Full Width/Stretched.” I did this on each page to revert it to the way it was.

    I am not sure how it happened on your site. Updating a theme/plugin to the latest version should not change the existing settings/configuration.

    Hi Herman,

    Yeah, I thought it was weird too. The only difference I could think of between the two sites was the one that had the Classic Editor installed/activated didn’t have the issue. I’m grasping at straws though – I have no clue why it would do that. I’ve never experienced it updating Astra.

    Either way, all good now. Thanks! I will mark as resolved.
