Latest update crashes site

Dear Nicola,

The file you suggest to replace with is a hacked file. I need a solution that doesn’t open a hacking door to my site.

Is there any support from Amazon Link Builder here…..anyone?

Can you please share your PHP version. With the 1.5.0 version of the Amazon Associates Link Builder plugin, we increased the minimum PHP version requirement to 5.4.0. If you have a PHP version lower than that, then you would see the error described above.

We would recommend upgrading to a recent version of PHP and then re-trying plugin activation.

Yep, that was the problem. I was running PHP 5.3. With the latest update of Link Builder (1.5.0), I was getting a fatal error.

After I updated my PHP to 5.6.0, I was able to activate the plugin without any problem.

I’m having the same issue, but my hosting doesn’t have a stable version of 5.6.0. at this time. Is there another workaround I can use in the meantime?
