Hi @vernonwebsites, thanks for your message.

There’s a chance that Learning Mode can help. The update may have some checks that are now hitting as false-positives with some of the calls Divi’s visual editor makes. Allowlisting the actions can be done by following the instructions below.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now load up Divi’s visual editor and perform any actions that were previously blocked like viewing/editing/saving. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Hi @vernonwebsites, thanks for your reply.

Learning Mode is usually pretty reliable for allowing site functions that are erroneously being blocked. Did the page work during Learning Mode and go back to failing after “Enabled and Protecting” was re-enabled or did it not work in both states?

    Thanks again,

    Peter.

    Hi @vernonwebsites,

I’m sorry to hear that. Could you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,

    Peter.
