This started with the latest update. I didn’t realize they might be related at first. But trying to add a menu item wasn’t working so I did Health Check & Troubleshooting and that led me to this plugin. admin ajax was giving a 403 error. With this plugin disabled, the menu admin worked fine. So I rolled it back.

Meanwhile, I had been having an issue with an embed showing in a Vertical Response form that was in several of our pop ups. It suddenly refused to show the captcha. Now our backend showed this: (h=0;h<hash_length;h++) but the form IN THE POP UP showed this: (h=0;h&lt<hash_length;h++) in developer tools on the front. Oddly enough, when I rolled back the plugin this is now showing be a captcha again! I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but if so, it’s a big one. We are consulting with the Vertical Response people, but it looks like something is converting that code, and I’m now wondering if it’s the plugin itself.

Until we have answers, I’m staying on the previous version and turned off auto updates for the plugin.

Found the same issue with an embed Constant Contact form in a popup. Showing hidden fields. Rolling back to v4.2.7 is the only fix.

No. Your admin menu issue may be fixed but it is STILL breaking the code of embedded forms so the captcha doesn’t show.
