• Resolved tgd

I just updated to the latest version, then checked the front-end, only to see that at full-width, the main menu seems to be ‘toggled-on’ by default, with the ‘menu’ button active and the entire menu displayed below as it should when on a small-screen device. I had to revert back to 1.7.5 to resolve the issue. I am using a child-theme.

  • Hi I am a real noob here. I am having the same issues with the main navigation in the Preference Lite theme displaying in a vertical list instead of across the page.

I currently have version 1.7 but have a notification there is another update of this theme available. If I update it – will it fix this menu display issue? If not – I would like to revert back to the previous version of this theme. Can someone please explain to me how I do that, really simply? lol

    Thanks heaps,
    Michelle

Hi Michelle….no worries. First, it’s always good to keep up to date as bug fixes come along and even on occasions new features being added or adjusted. Second, you want to make sure that you made your own custom menu and not use the default menu that gets displayed as you will get more flexibility.

Not sure if you are aware of this, but there are setup tutorials for this theme:

Thanks for that. I’ve created the primary menu as this guide suggested but it hasn’t solved the problem. Where can I get an older version of Preference Lite and how do I install it?

If you go to the tab “Developers” on the theme’s page, you can see all the previous versions. However, one thing to try is to clear your browser’s cache and see what happens. Also, do you ave a link to your site and I will take a quick look?

Thanks so much. It is here: https://www.woywoyhotel.com.au

Thanks for the link…you are on version 1.7, so yes, I recommend you update.

Thanks. So will updating to 1.8 fix the menu display issue back to vertical?
