• Ugh.. the new update overwrote all of the WRP plugin settings and customizations. Very frustrating. Heads up to folks considering update, you’ll need to reinput all of your settings after this update.

    Hello @bozzmedia,

We are sorry you are experiencing issues with the latest update (3.6.4). We discovered that this version is not compatible with sites running PHP 5.3.* or older (see sticky post we just pinned).

Can you please share with us which PHP version you are using, and any additional informating that could help us in diagnosing the specific problem you are encountering. Feel free to email us directly at [email protected], or we can continue on this thread.

    Best Regards,
    Sovrn Support

Nope. I’m running 5.6 so that’s not it.

    Hi @easternkicks & @bozzmedia,

Thank you for providing us with this information and, again, we apologize for the inconvenience the update has caused.

Our engineering team has determined the cause of the customization settings revert and is in the process of preparing a plugin release to prevent more CSS overwritten issues. They are also investigating whether or not there is a way to recover the previous customization settings.

As soon as the problem has been corrected we will update this thread. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best,
    Sovrn Support

    Hi @easternkicks & @bozzmedia,

We’ve discovered the origin to the problem: our latest update did not migrate the settings from the previous version. We have patched the current version with the fix, and have implemented a new quality control for future releases to ensure this does not happen again.

For those of you who have unfortunately lost custom CSS settings for your plugin, we recommend restoring from an earlier backup (local or from your hosting provider), if available. Thereafter you can update the plugin to our most current version (which as of this writing is our patched v3.6.4).

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused to our users, and appreciate your patience.

    Regards,
    Sovrn Support
