Latest Update Removed Line Graph Text Overlay

Having the same problem. A solution or workaround for this from the developers would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting that the issue appeared to be fixed (all overlays began to appear again after 3 days) but then today the issue is back. No overlays across all graphs.

I really do like this plugin but can we get a permanent fix?

Could you try to disable all the plugins and see if it’s not a conflict? And is it working in the backend?

Thanks Hardeep for the idea but unfortunately that didn’t work. I disabled all plugins except Visualizer but the overlay did not appear on the live page. The overlays are also not appearing on the backend.

Not sure if this helps but I just tried making a new line graph using the exact same steps I’ve used before and I noticed that the text overlay will appear on the backend when I first import the data from the CSV file, but as soon as I click into any Advanced field to make a change, the overlay stops appearing – even if I remove the field value. For instance, I added the data and the overlay appeared, then in General I clicked to add a title and the overlay then stopped appearing. This behavior was the same no matter what field I tried to modify. This was not happening prior to today so not sure what’s changed. I’m still using Chrome browser and on a PC, windows 7.

I’m having the same problem with line, bar, and column charts. Pie and scatter charts are working normally.

To add to jcduron’s last comment: For me, the tooltips with the numbers are functional when I first import the data, but they stop working when I save the chart, even if I never touch the Advanced button.

Just to add that we have the same issue since updating to the latest version. Hovering over data in a line graph no longer displays the values as it did previously…

Same problem here, hover over chart no longer displays the data. This is on 8 different charts that were previously working.

Yes, it’s indeed an issue with the plugin and we’re working on an update. It will be out soon and will fix this issue. Thank you all for bringing this to our attention. ??

found a workaround for bar graphs, in graph settings go to > bar settings> focus target> set it to focus on single data point > then it will work like before.
