After updating today to the latest version of WC Marketplace, my site crashed (HTTP error 500). My host identified the problem as an error produced by the Marketplace Stripe plugin. Once that plugin was deactivated, the problem went away. I noticed a Stripe plugin is listed in the changelog – do I need to switch to a different Stripe plugin or is there something else I need to do to be able to reactivate Stripe?

  • Hi @kristinrutten, thanks for getting in touch with us.

The error message is coming because, from WCMp version 3.1.0, we have integrated Stripe into WCMp core plugin. Hence you no longer need to activate the WCMp Marketplace plugin. So, please deactivate Marketplace Stripe gateway plugin and the error should be resolved.

After that, you also have to add the credentials via WCMp >> Settings >> Payment >> Stripe Gateway.

Let us know if you have any further query.
