It looks as though this is only effecting “all day” events, if that further helps.

I’ve resaved all of the posts so now they are no longer showing twice. I emptied/turned off all caching and that also didn’t fix the issue. Only thing that fixed was resaving each event.

    Hello @stinamariechris,

Regarding the issue in this topic,

We worked on MEC and we fixed it so we want you to kindly update MEC to its latest version (5.16.2) and then try again.

    MEC Changelog: https://webnus.net/modern-events-calendar/change-log/

Note: May you need to update your events one by one.

In case the issue persists, just let us know.

    Warm Regards

    Hi @stinamariechris @webnus
I have exact the same problem (https://erskf.ch) and updating to version 5.16.2 did not solve it!? (“May you need to update your events one by one.” is not really a good solution…)

Thanks for your fast reply, @webnus !
The updated events are not shown twice anymore, so this solved the issue. (However, my hope was, that I can avoid this work ?? )

I’m not sure if this helps, but I have a staging website that is an exact copy of my live website.

On my staging website, I updated Modern Events Calendar to 5.16.0 and saw the “no events” issue, then updated to 5.16.1 and 5.16.2 when they were released. I did not have an event duplication problem on the staging site.

On the live website, I updated Modern Events Calendar to 5.16.0, downgraded to 5.15.5 to fix the “no events” issue, then updated to 5.16.1 and 5.16.2. This site had the duplication issue.

Maybe the downgrade is what caused it?

    Hi @stinamariechris,

Thank you for the test you ran and sharing it with us!

We will certainly test this on our demos as well, and if possible we will find the issue and resolve it in the upcoming updates.

    Best Regards

The issue continues to be a problem in Version 5.16.6. Resaving all of the full day events solves the problem, but I would have expected this to have been fixed in 5.16.6.

    Hi @dbyolton,

We have fixed the issue and anyone who gets the new version (in the first installation) will not face this problem.

    Best Regards

Yes, but having a problem that continues like this for existing users without warning them in release notes is irresponsible, especially after Webnus support in the forth comment from the top, states “Thank you for your report, we are working to fix this issue again, and we will release an update in the next 24 – 48 hours.”

Looks like a serious customer service issue here.

If single day events are going to need updating after an upgrade you need to include it in the release notes.

    No excuses!

    Hello @dbyolton,

Our first reply was related to a which we thought was causing other issues.
It is now resolved in the 5.16.2 version.
In this reply, that one has also been mentioned: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/no-events-since-latest-update/

You can find further information on the mentioned issue in https://webnus.net/modern-events-calendar/change-log/

We have fixed the 5.16.5 version.

    - Fixed: Duplicating events

Some users, including you apparently, may still face problems regarding this.

However, please send the specifications of your issue to [email protected], also, please provide some info on the plugins and the theme you have? so we can check it and get back to you.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

I also have the problem that the dates double “over” night (https://wp-ecommerce.eu/). I had the problem also before the version 5.16.6 and now again and again. As a last action I have deleted all appointments and created all new.

What else can I do so that the error no longer happens?

    Best Regards
    Frank
