Latest Update slowing desktop site load time

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, having used the brilliant plugin WpTouch for a couple of years, the desktop version of my site is now running very slowing after November’s latest plugin update.

    I’ve done the usual switching off of other plugins but am hesitant to turn off the handful of other plugins I use because of necessity.

    If I were to go back to using 3.8.8, the site works fine. Any chance you know what was added/changed in 3.8.9 that might be slowing my desktop site load times down?

    Deleted plugin, re-installed – same problem. In fact, the site was broken and had to manually deactivate via ftp. Poor.
