I’ve noticed the WordPress.com block editor has been ridiculously slow the last few days. My coblocks plugin updated 5 days ago; when I deactivate coblocks, the slow editor issue is resolved.

    Hi @ashleyleia,

In order to troubleshoot this accurately, have you tried disabling all plugins except the CoBlocks?
Please do so and let me know how that goes.

    Best Regards,
    Pavle

The same applies to my site, the block editor has become painstakingly slow, it takes forever to add a single paragraph. And adding any block takes forever.

This problem is only 3 days old, before that everything was fine, the new plugin I added is calculated form plugin, but when I deactivated it there was no difference.

    Please advise.

    Hey @qdbt,

Can you please specify the list of plugins and the theme you use? Also, please let me know which version of WordPress you use.
That will help us replicate the issue and find a probable cause.

    Best Regards,
    Pavle

    Hi @qdbt and @ashleyleia,

Thank you for taking the time to report this here. I went ahead and made some changes to the logic used within advanced features recently and this has resulted in significant performance improvements within the editor. The new version of CoBlocks 2.0.1 has just been released with this fix. Please give it a try and let us know if this solves your issue.

    Best regards,

    Anthony
