Latest update to 2.7.1 hangs elementor editing

I am curious to know if any errors are also visible in the browser’s error console (chrome is ctrl/cmd + shift + c), probably similar to what you found in the system info log.

To roll-back, navigate on the back end to Elementor > Tools > Version Control and select from the drop down how far you’d like to roll back.

found this in the browser error console, don’t really know what I’m looking at though…..

Attempted to roll back to the previous version of Elementor that was installed and nothing happens, arrows just keep turn around on the button.

Not too sure what my next step should be except to abandon Elementor altogether and use a different editor.

Hello. Got the same issue with one of my website. Same error message in the console and unable to restore the 2.7.0 using the Elementor version control panel (arrows keep turning). I had to restore a backup of the entire website before the 2.7.1 update (version 2.7.0). Situation is now back to normal but I will wait before doing the next Elementor update. Do you have a backup of your site ? Otherwise, try to remove the elementor plugin and install the 2.7.0. You can download it from the www.ads-software.com website. Go into the plugin section and search for Elementor. In the Elementor plugin page, click on the Advanced View on the right sidebar. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the version you want to download (2.7.0 works fine for me).

Please try updating to the newest Elementor version (2.7.3),
and let me know if you are able to edit with Elementor.
