Same thing for me. I had to revert. Message is : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /datas/yulpa171786/sites/fncta-midipy.fr/wp-includes/class-wpdb.php on line 2316

Can you provide a stack trace fnctamp?

I can confirm this plugin has catastrophically failed and it took down our site this morning, when it crashed the wp-posts database.

The page with the shortcode throws a fatal error, but when activating the plugin and checking the events, the plugin has created 84,000 additional pages.

Another tool is the Query Monitor plugin. Using this with 250 events I never see the memory use go above about 60 MB.

Could you tell me how many events you have and your settings?

After investigating I can confirm that the update created thousands upon thousands of duplicate entries for each individual event that already existed in our calendar. This would explain why the OP above also suffered an Allowed memory size issue.

Whatever was done in the update seems to have created masses of unnecessary data, which most basic hosting will not be able to handle.

I am currently trying to delete it all from my server. We’re starting again with another plugin and manually moving valid data over to it, because I do not think any future update of this plugin is going to be able to clean up the mess it has created on my server.

Sorry that you are having this problem. I will investigate the cause for you.

Until I hear back from those reporting a problem, I can’t do more research. I have updated the code to prevent duplicate entries in version 5.0.1. If you have thousands of entries, please contact me at https://spiffyplugins.ca/contact/ and I will work with you to remove the extra entries quickly.
