• Hi

Thanks for the great plugin. It worked fine till 2.0.6. Our site’s functionality got disturbed with the latest updates 2.0.7 and 2.0.8.

We have used URL for scrolling to headings manually at different locations, they stopped working all together. I believe, you have added some class restriction which does not allow to navigate any other links, which do not fall under ez table of contents class.

In some headings we have had used DOTS, which were not recognized in the permalink URL, however with these recent updates, DOTS are also appearing in the URL, which also sort of disabled our manual hard coded URL(s), which we have had used across the site for navigation purpose, in sidebar widgets.

To fix it, we have moved back to version 2.0.6, however we would like to know, if there will be any fix for the said issues for latest versions?

Yes, smooth scroll will now only affect the TOC links to provide greater compatibility with other plugins/theme’s. Smooth scrolling page wide was causing issues with plugins/themes which also interacted with scroll positioning.

The latest version support HTML5 and Unicode characters to support languages such as Russian and Chinese. I’m sorry but these changes will not be revised. So the only options to to stick with 2.0.6 of hook into the ez_toc_url_anchor_target filter to create the anchors the way you need.

Thank you. Your response is much appreciated. ??
