    Hi,

The latest version (3.2.18), crashed my site with a critical error. I’ve disabled the plug-in by renaming it and now the site is up and working.

How can I move forward, can I just download version 3.2.17 and just put it in the original wp-optimize folder? Or does the original folder now contain custom settings?

  • I had the same problem with 3.2.18, but you can download and install an older version from here – https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-optimize/advanced/

Just select the version you want from the previous version dropdown at the bottom of the page, then upload the zip using the WordPress Plugin install function of your site. I downgraded to 3.2.16 which was my previous installed version.

    All sorted, thanks @barkeyo ??

Same here. Two sites with WP-Optimize, different domains. All plugins with last version updated last week. Today I deactived all of them to check with causes the problem. Finally found is WP-Optimize.
The site runs slowly and crash showing a database error. I deactivated WP-Optimize and site runs fine again… It happens since last update version…

I wonder if it is the same problem as i had the last days. It sounds similar. This problem was gone after i switched off WebP conversion of the images.

Hi @arkt1234, don’t think so in my case as not currently using WebP conversation.

I havent had my website crash with the latest version installed, however for the past week or so I’ve had the CPU usage on the server slowly increase(currently at 72%) and my host’s automated diagnostics point out wp-optimize as one of the causes(Points it out as slow plugin)
