The title says it all. And according to Timely’s support forum, there are help requests that, even after an alleged fix and a series of confusing messages from a Timely programmer, there are still various unresolved issues that leave this otherwise previously excellent plugin unusable. I sure hope it get fixed soon. Before this situation arose, it was the very best of its kind.

  • Hi, this is the explanation. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/please-read-before-posting-an-explanation-on-the-upgrade-problem?replies=1

If you still have problems, please copy the theme folder because if you have the wrong theme folder things do not work.

Thank you for the response. I know you are very busy right now, so your support is sincerely appreciated.

I tried that. Did not work. Stil broken. Another site has the same issue of the widget.

You may have access codes for the saking at my personal; email

    [email protected]

What do you mean with “Break”. If you see a blank page, please look at the PHP error log and report the error here.

The original msg referred to the fact that the plugin caused the sites to display the code you saw reported in the forums

(Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Ai1ec_File_Not_Found’ with message ‘The specified file ‘event.min.js’ doesn’t exist.’ in ) and so forth

Then came the suggested correction, which I followed and the site itself now displays correctly.

But the plugin itself is broken. See in the left sidebar

So, Please either tell me how to fix, or if you wish, I will send you access credentials and ask that you look at it.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

this is strange. Do you have a file class-ai1ec-time-utility.php in folder /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/utility/time?

    (@joehark)

    I have the folder

    /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/

    but the content is different.

Please give me an email address ([email protected]) and I will send you credentials.

PS thank you for your help. It is really appreciated. I have 6 or so clients using your calendar. All have the same issue. If we can get this fixed today I promise I will lean on them to buy a license.

It is the best plugin of its kind.

Can you please download version 1.10.9 standard from our website and then do the following
    1) perform a db backup to be on the safe side
    2) deactivate the plugin ( just deactivate it do not delete it )
    2) delete everything in /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar folder
    3) extract our zipped archive
    4) copy the content of the the archive to /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar
    5) replace /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/themes-ai1ec with /home/sinoterm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/themes-ai1ec
    6) reactivate the plugin
It seems you are mixing versions somehow. This would install version 1.10.9 standard.

    Thank you for the help.

Will the above lose the events listings already created?

No, it should not BUT please do a backup ??

The above did work. Thank you for the excellent support.

In case someone else is doin this I’d like to clarify that at this moment, the WP site still offers the older version. The newer version (1.10.9) is available directly from the Timely web site.
