Thanks for using this plugin and your patience. I am sorry to hear about the issue that you are experiencing. We’ve updated the plugin on all of our sites and did not encounter this error. So far, you are the only person to report this issue which makes me think there is a specific conflict.
Was 5.0.7 the first version of the plugin you used or have you updated the plugin before? If so, did you encounter any issues then? Do you have FTP access to your site so you could manually disable the plugin? If not, could you reach out to your hosting provider to ask them to disable the plugin. Once disabled, you can try re-activating to rule out any issue encountered during the update process.
