• Just 2 hours ago I updated plugin from 1.3.30 -> 1.3.31, I cannot access wordpress admin dashboard and all other admin’s pages. But website is still functional and working like a charm.

Somehow I managed to deactivated the plugin to access admin dashboard but I found no way to roll back to previous version (which was working awesomely!).

Need advice on which files updated from the latest version so I can patch old version back and having this plugin alive? ??

Cheers again to developers who make this amazing plugin!!

  • Same issue here.

    1.3.31 update borked wp-admin

    Temp fix

FTP and del /ultimate-member folder and wp-admin functions restored.

    u/l 1.3.30 and activated plug-in and wp-admin works.

will not update until I see more info about this.

I believe this is the same issue as https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/server-error-500-516?replies=2

Does anyone have a link to the last version of UM 1.3.30??? I can’t find it.

I get the same problem by the way. And disabled the UM plugin and everything is back to normal. I posted in the above ticket my error messages

    thanks a lot, macms

like iamjaychong “…Just 2 hours ago I updated plugin from 1.3.30 -> 1.3.31, I cannot access wordpress admin dashboard and all other admin’s pages. But website is still functional and working like a charm…”
so I did what you wrote in forum 1 hour ago: ” …FTP and del /ultimate-member folder and wp-admin functions restored…” and now it’s ok!
    thanks a lot

I’v got the same problem: site works fine as far as it is accessible for visitors that are not logged in.

I installed my site only 2 days ago, after building it offline, and am still in testing phase. The original site is still in my Xampp-folder. I wonder if I could copy the UM-plugin folder from my Xampp-folder and upload it using FTP. (perhaps it’s a stupid question, but I’m not a very experienced user)

If not, I’ll try to follow the advise of iamjaychong, but I would like to know first if all my settings of UM are restored when I add the previous version of the plugin. Otherwise I’d perhaps better install my site anew.

I hope for some good advice.

I have the same problem, and fixed it pretty easily…

I just downloaded the old 1.3.30 version from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ultimate-member/developers/ and copy over the file “ultimate-member\admin\core\um-admin-actions.php” file and overwrite the same file on the website and it works fine for me now.

@marionfw — All my settings were preserved, the only remaining annoyance is that the one you download from the developers page has developer mode enabled so when you go to the plugin’s settings pages you get an annoying box that says “developer mode”.

    Hi guys,

Apologies that you are having login issues. A macms pointed out you can deactivate the plugin via ftp by renaming the plugin.

An easy way to get back to a previous version is to use this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

If you haven’t already, can I ask you to please submit a ticket here: https://ultimatemember.com/support-contact/ and we will look into this on your sites and see what the trend is with your individual sites as it is working fine for us on our test site.

    Thanks!

Thanks a lot, Glen and AYork. I restored the um-admin-actions.php from my offline installation, and have access again. As far as I can see, all settings are preserved.
Nevertheless I’ll submit a ticket o be sure.

    Same problem.

    Hi Granin,

If you create a ticket here: https://ultimatemember.com/support-contact/ we can deactivate UM via FTP and allow you access to wp-admin. We have fixed the issue and are just preparing the plugin for update. Will be pushing a new update very soon.

    Thanks!

Can you please update to latest version (1.3.32) as it fixes the admin whitescreen/error issue. Thanks!
