Latest Version Drops All User Capabilities Set

  • Hi,

    When I upgrade to your latest version, it no longer recognises the capabilities set within the User Role Editor plugin ?

    Any suggestions on why it’s doing that ?

    WordPress Version 6.2
    php 8.0
    Current WP User Manager version that works with User Role Editor 2.7.2

    Hi @mtgagents2021 sorry about the delay. No changes in the plugin that should affect the User Role Editor plugin. Have you reverted to a back up?

    Yes, currently on Version 2.7.1 and any update there after appears to drop the capabilities set, for example we us capabilities to control what menu items different logged in agents can see. When I update, every single menu item becomes available so its no longer responding to those capability settings.

    Hi @mtgagents2021 ,

    I tested this from my end, by disabling a menu item for other roles, and only for logged in user, but it seems that I was unable to replicate the issue that you described.
