    I’ve been getting quite a lot of complaints from customers that are updating to the latest version and it’s wiping out their Custom CSS and events are being injected into custom queries. There also seem to be some reports of Customizer settings getting aced out as well.

    Anyone else having these issues?

    Oh, completely agree. Specifically with Divi, this latest plugin update (v6.0 and all iterations to date) seems to completely override the Builder settings in Divi themes. Trying to get Divi to help but they’re not wanting to do much since this may be a plugin issue. Are your clients on Divi or another theme?

    Yep, unfortunately updates for TEC these days do not seem to be well tested and frequently create new issues.

    You should roll back to an older version for now.

    @truesource – Most my customers are using my “Total” theme but also some people using our free themes also reporting issues. I’ve had issues myself also testing locally using the default WP theme.

    I’m trying to help people but the best help I can really give is to revert the site back to a backup if needed and in some cases reverting the plugin version back seems to help (which seems to be the recommendations from the plugin team as well).

    I am using Enfold theme and both the 6.02 & 6.03 updates crashed my site with Critical Error. I had to roll back to 6.01. Even that version is causing some issues with website resources, but it does not crash the site.

    I am also having issues – I’ve had to disable the plugin because it’s messing with my entire theme / all the pages display strangely and there’s a big caching issue….
    I tried to downgrade to version 6.0001 but same issue.

    Hi everyone, apologies for the delay here, I am back now. We just released The Events Calendar 6.0.4. We fixed quite a few errors in this release, and it may have solved this issue as well. Please update and let us know if you’re still seeing the issue. If so, we’ll prioritize it for an upcoming release.

    To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

    Also, please clear any caching for both third-party plugins and server-side (if you have any). It would also be good to flush permalinks.
